About

RomToolKit.com is where Nick publishes ROM hacks, IPS and BPS patches, and tools made with the help of AI. Everything here is free to download, with no account needed.

How to patch a ROM

You need your own unmodified copy of the game and a patcher such as Floating IPS (for .ips and .bps files). Check that your ROM matches the original checksum on the release page, apply the patch, and load the result in your emulator or flash cart.

ROM policy

This site hosts patches and original tools only. It never hosts or links to copyrighted ROMs. Please do not ask for them.

Affiliate links and prices

Game pages have price-check buttons and product links that go to other stores, such as eBay, Amazon and AliExpress. Many of these are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, the site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep everything here free.

• As an Amazon Associate, RomToolKit earns from qualifying purchases.
• eBay links may be affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network.
• Other store links (for example AliExpress) may also be affiliate links.

We do not track or guarantee prices. Each store sets its own prices, shipping, availability and return policy, and those can change at any time. Purchases are made with the store, not with RomToolKit, so questions about an order go to that store. A product link is not a review or an endorsement, and we do not check the condition or authenticity of items listed by other sellers.

Trademarks

RomToolKit is a fan site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, Sega, Sony or any other game company. Game titles, console names, logos and box art belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the games.

Privacy

There are no accounts, so we store nothing about you. Ads, when shown, are served by an ad network that may use cookies; you can choose your preferences in the consent banner.
